(March 9) — Racing far from his Forest, Va., home, Walker Arthur’s journey paid off Saturday at Clarksville Speedway with a victory in the Pro Crate Racers of America opener. Arthur’s flag-to-flag victory came in Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic at the quarter-mile oval. Jeff Walston of Paducah, Ky., finished second in the main event followed by Evan Taylor of Woodlawn, Tenn. PCRA Opens Up 2013 Series March 2nd at the 9th annual Toilet Bowl in Clarksville , TN!

The PCRA springs into action with a historic event on the red clay quarter mile in Clarksville, TN.  The Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic has been a signal of a new racing season for the heart of the country for 9 years and this year brings in the best crate racers in the Midwest with kick off to the 2013 PCRA crate late model series.  The track will be slated to have a full weekend of racing with the PCRA getting involved in the action on Saturday March 2nd. All series events will pay a minimum of $1000 to win and a $100 to start. The PCRA, or Pro Crate Racers of America, will be entering its third season as the country’s premier Crate Late Model touring series.  Founder Mark Voigt is excited about its prospects and believes the 2013 season could be the PCRA’s best ever.

Bobby Dauderman will be attempting to reissue the brigade of butt whoopins that he laid out through the 2012 season on his way to his first PCRA championship.  “The Undertaker” from Alhambra, IL racked up 7 victories on his way to the championship over Mark Oiler by 188 points.  These standouts will have their hands full if they think they will be getting a “seat” in victory lane as they will be looking to go ahead with the heap of local standouts at the Clarksville speedway.

Stay tuned to the pcralatemodelseries.com for announcement of additional race as we continue to work with local track for more events.  As always we encourage all competitors to contact series promoter Mark Voigt at 618-887-4706 with any questions or concerns.

Bobby Dauderman Dominates Midwest

2012 Bobby Dauderman Tri City Speedway E 300x200 Bobby Dauderman Dominates MidwestOCTOBER 22ND, 2012 (ST. LOUIS, MO) Midwest area dirt tracks saw a common theme in 2012, domination across the board by Pro Late Model driver Bobby Dauderman. Running his team out of Alhambra, Illinois Dauderman swept the Midwest with seventeen wins in just thirty-six starts.

At seasons end, twenty-four year old Dauderman has now been crowned the winner of the UMP Pro Late Model National Championship as well as the Pro Crate Racers Of America Regional Championship for the teams relentless efforts. Winning nearly half of the races entered and finishing in the top three seventy percent of the time, a championship or two was a given.

Championships are won by far more than the person in control of the wheel. The time and effort put forth by a determined crew chief (Chad Schuster) and the whole team along with the sacrifices made by their families allowed Dauderman to keep his #18 Rocket Chassis at the front of the field week after week. Rewarded for their efforts, BDR can now proudly display two highly sought after trophies.
